Bird Bread Baking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 177°C.
  2. Combine entire bag of mix with 2 whole eggs (no shell, remove the yolks if you want less fat), 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, and 1 cup (235 ml) water.
  3. Fill greased bread pan or muffin tins and bake for 25-35 minutes.
  4. Some flavourings (vanilla, maple) or herbs can be added as long as they do not change the nutritional content.

🦜Do not bake in non-stick (PTFE-coated) cookware, as the fumes are toxic to birds.

🦜If prepared with the addition of fruits, vegetables or nuts, Bird Bread should be considered a "treat" and fed only in limited quantities (no more than 10% of the daily food allotment when combined with all other treats).

Dough Ball Instructions

  1. Combine entire bag of mix with 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil and 0.5 cup of water.
  2. Mix thoroughly and roll into 2.5 cm dough balls.
  3. Store frozen in the Harrison's bag, thaw for daily feeding.
