Low iron diet for eclectus parrots and other frugivores

Recommended diet for Eclectus parrots and other frugivores such as birds of paradise, toucans, and mynas. Completely balanced extruded pellet diet specifically designed to meet the particular dietary needs of pet and breeding eclectus parrots and other frugivores. Also suitable for Australian, Asiatic, and exotic parrots.

Low iron formula, containing increased levels of vitamin A and vitamin C that fruit eaters require, along with balanced minerals, calcium and amino acids for egg formation, strong development of young, and general ongoing health. Apple flavour is readily accepted by all birds. Reduces the mess, waste, and cost of feeding fruit eaters.

Feeding Instructions

Average eclectus parrot that weighs approximately 450 g requires minimum of 35 g of Paradise Pellets per day. This amount should be supplemented with equal parts fruit and vegetables. Paradise Pellets should be fed as a minimum of 50% of the diet.

Whole grains (wheat, corn and soy bean), seasonal fruits (may include blueberry, apricot, apple, currants, peach, pear, sultanas), fructose, vegetable oil, amino acids (lysine and methionine), vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, D3, E, H, and K), minerals (calcium, cobalt, copper, iron, iodine, magnesium, manganese, phosphorous, potassium, selenium, sodium, sulphur, and zinc), choline.
