You can also get branches from your garden, such as apple, feijoa, bottle brush. Put them out in the sun for a bit to make sure all bugs are gone. You can also pour hot water on the branches prior to drying. It's great to have a variety of sizes and shapes to provide exercise for the birds' feet.
