A veterinary formulated complete diet for optimum nutritional balance. The inclusion of 5% real fruit and 5% fresh nuts mixed through the pellets provides variety and is a great source of enrichment.

Parrot Essentials supplies the balance needed for optimum health, while also offering variety into the daily diet with the inclusion of quality first-grade fruit harvested from the Mildura river lands and a pinch of almond pieces from north-west Victoria, Australia.

Feeding Instructions

The minimum amount of pellets should be 10% of the weight of your bird. For example, a 150 g sun conure would need 15 g of pellets.

Parrot Essentials is a complete diet; no additional dietary supplementation is necessary. Fruits and vegetables should be fed (20% of the diet) to encourage interaction, and to provide variety and stimulation.

If using Parrot Essentials for exotic breeding pairs, provide an additional calcium source.

Store in a dry area below 30°C.

Whole grains (maize, soy bean, wheat and oats), vegetable oils and natural organic acids, almond chips, and dehydrated fruit, vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3, E, H and K) and minerals (calcium, cobalt, copper, iodine, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, sodium, sulphur, and zinc).
